Keep tool aprons off during finishing work
When a project reaches the finishing carpentry stage and moldings begin to go in, small details make a big difference.
One simple way to protect the work is for carpenters to remove their tool aprons while installing trim, millwork, and moldings. Tool belts can easily bump finished surfaces, leaving dents, scratches, or marks that are difficult to fix once materials are installed.
Damage at this stage often leads to extra repairs, frustrated painters, and increased overall project costs. Even minor marks can mean added touch-ups and delays before the final finish is complete.
Protecting finished materials helps keep the project moving efficiently and preserves the quality of the final result. At this stage, careful handling is just as important as precise installation. 🔨
