Frameless Glass—Prep Is Everything

Frameless glass showers and tub enclosures are one of those features that instantly elevate a bathroom. Clean lines. Open feel. Modern finish.

But here’s the truth: the install is only as good as the prep behind it.

Frameless glass leaves no room to hide mistakes. There’s no bulky frame to compensate for uneven walls or rushed work. If the prep isn’t precise, the final result won’t be either.

Here’s what matters most:

✔️ Walls and floors must be level

Even slight inconsistencies can cause gaps, improper door swing, or long-term stress on the glass.

✔️ Hinges need solid backing

Glass is heavy. Anchoring hinges into proper framing (not just tile and drywall) ensures durability and safety.

✔️ Measure twice — seriously

Frameless glass is custom-cut. Once it’s fabricated, there’s no trimming it down on site. Precision at the measuring stage is everything.

When the structure is square, the framing is solid, and the measurements are exact, frameless glass performs beautifully. Doors swing properly. Seals sit tight. The space feels seamless. It’s one of those upgrades where you don’t see the prep work, but you absolutely see (and feel) the difference when it’s done right.

Thinking about frameless glass? Let’s do it right.
